Hero

The painting Hero was done at a live exhibition in New York by Michael Israel. His art has been seen all over the world and he believes that art can be used for education and entertainment. He uses energy and excitement in his art to bring people together that have experienced similar issues. His performances are known as action paintings. He brings the crowd to tears at one point and makes them jump for joy at the next.

I first saw this video when my friend sent it to me, knowing that my father is a fire fighter. When I first saw it I was reminded of September 11, and how devastating it was. I remember my dad going down to New York right after the attack, and when he got back I could tell that he was really affected by it. When I see Hero I am reminded of all the brave men of the NYFD who gave their lives for the salvation of others. Israel’s painting is emotional and brings back memories of sadness. However, at the same time you are full of pride because people from all over came together for one purpose, to help fellow Americans in need

The purpose of this art is to bring people together. Israel depicts a fireman carrying a child, and in the background is the American flag. It shows one person saving another persons life, which is something that we do not see every day. This painting creates so much pride and helps bring people together in memory of the people that lost their lives. The painting also shows patriotism, and the sacrifice people are willing to make for others.

This is an emotionalist painting. When looking at this painting people are reminded of what happened and are filled with grief and pride. This is a very emotional painting because it reminds people of one of the most tragic days in recorded American history. Israel put so much emotion and time into developing this idea. He created this image to help bring people together.

Michael Israel has created a new type of art. He believes that art can do more than just educate and entertain. Through his art he believes that he is able to bring people together. He wants people to share the experience with others that have been affected by similar issues.

Question: Do you think that Israel’s painting style is art itself?
